Based in Birmingham, New street station is one of the busiest train station in the UK. It is undergoing a 1bn pound refurbishment. The Atrium sitting above the train station was designed to be waterproofed in single ply. Sureseal roofing were drafted in to provide labour to install the single ply in the truss legs and also in the Luther’s. Very challenging as the truss legs were at a incline of around 30-50% and you had to stand in them to install the membrane. Certainly one were going to remember!
